In 2017, David Williamson died in an emergency room — and came back with a clarity he has spent years learning to live. He now helps others apply those same hard-won insights to the lives they are already living.
"Everything was energy. Everything felt like love. The pain, the confusion, the identity stuff — it was gone."
David A. Williamson · Describing his NDE, 2017
About David
David A. Williamson grew up in Yanceyville, North Carolina — a small, beautiful, and deeply complicated place. From childhood, he carried the weight of racial trauma, rage, and a body already beginning to pay the price for it. By the time he was 40, untreated hypertension, a damaged gallbladder, and a congenital heart defect had brought him to the edge.
On February 7th, 2017, his heart valve ruptured. Seven days later, he had a heart attack in an emergency room. He died. And then he came back — changed in ways he is still finding language for.
Out of his body, hovering above the room, David experienced something that dissolved decades of identity, ideology, and anger in an instant. What replaced it was not a formula or a belief system. It was a simple, radical accountability — for his thoughts, his attention, and the stories he had chosen to inhabit.
Since then, David has been working to translate that experience into something useful. Not spiritual performance. Not certainty. Just clarity — the kind that can be immediately applied to a real life.
Coaching & Speaking
His insights are grounded in lived experience — not theory. Each area below reflects something David spent years getting wrong, and has since learned to do differently.
Understanding what you actually are beneath the names, roles, and narratives you've been handed — and learning to direct your attention with intention rather than reaction.
Anger doesn't have to be suppressed or weaponized. David's own rage nearly killed him. He now helps people process it without becoming it.
NDEs, spiritual awakenings, grief, or profound loss can leave people unmoored. David helps people find footing after experiences that don't fit any existing map.
Practical, honest conversation about where you are, where you want to go, and what stories and habits are quietly keeping you stuck.
For people navigating questions that don't have clean answers — consciousness, death, meaning, purpose — without dogma or prescribed conclusions.
David speaks plainly about complex experiences. He is available for podcasts, panels, workshops, and events. Reach out to discuss.
"My anger killed me. And the only way I was able to shake the connection to those stories and those narratives is through having that reset."

Support David's Work
Though David's experience gave him profound clarity about how his own choices and disposition led him to difficult places, he now finds himself without work, carrying substantial medical debt, facing ongoing health concerns without insurance — and in the middle of a genuine pivot: letting go of the anxious, identity-driven pursuits that once consumed him, and freeing up that time and attention to truly serve people who seek his assistance.
He spent years resisting the advice to monetize his experience. As he put it: "I wanted to figure out my own consensus reality stuff for myself, just like everyone else." He never wanted to charge people for his gifts or his time, and found himself overwhelmed by calls, emails, interview requests, and scammers.
As he steps into a full-time life of service, David imagines building platforms and institutions that reach the most vulnerable populations on this planet. If you feel inclined to support that effort — in any amount — the options below make it easy to do so.
Thank you, genuinely, for your support.
